Scholarships

ASB Scholarship

To help promote agriculture as a career choice among our youth, the County Agricultural Service Board sponsors an annual scholarship for students who are pursuing a field of study related to the Agriculture Industry.  

To ensure applicants are eligible for the scholarship, applicants must: 

  1. Be graduating, or have already graduated, from Tofield, Holden, or Viking High Schools.  
  2. Be enrolled in a post-secondary program of two or more years in length, that is agriculture or agriculture related (Ie. Environment, Horticulture, Agribusiness, Ag-related mechanics, etc.). 
  3. Provide proof of enrollment. 

Successful applicants will receive $500.00. 

Deadline for application submissions is September 1, of each year.

2024 deadline extended to October 4th!

AAAF Bursary

As an ongoing tribute to active and retired AAAF members who have passed away, and in the spirit of continuing education valued by our Association, the Association of Alberta’s Agricultural Fieldmen created the AAAF Memorial Bursary. 

The bursary is intended for students continuing their education in a College or University program that focuses on Agriculture or Environmental Science. One $ 1,000.00 bursary is available annually for each of the 5 Provincial regions of the AAAF. 

Application submissions must be received by September 1, of each year.
