Snow Clearing

Posted on

Hello, snow-watchers—yes, again! Just when we thought spring was here for good, winter has made its third (or is it fourth?) comeback. So, what does this mean for snow removal in Beaver County?

Q: What happens when the snow keeps coming back?
A: Our crews aim to clear bus routes and main roads first, and then all local roads. If the snow keeps piling up (as it seems to love doing), it may take a while—but we’re on it.

Q: Can my road be cleared first?
A: We hear you—and we appreciate your messages each year! But with over 2,600 km of roads, we have to prioritize. That means bus routes and collector roads first, followed by local roads. Driveways get cleared after priority routes, and emergency access always takes precedence.

We get that waiting is tough—but our snow-fighting crews are working hard to keep things moving. Thanks for sticking with us through all the seasons (even when they show up at once!).
