A big thank you to Clean Harbors for their generous donations over the past year!
Last July, Reeve Smook met with Clean Harbors facility manager Stan Yuha to officially launch the funding agreement for the Community Enhancement Grant and Hosting Donation Fee. Since January 1, 2023, we’ve been receiving funding based on the tonnage received at the facility, calculated quarterly. While Council has decided not to allocate these funds just yet, as we were unsure of the total amount to expect, we’re excited to plan impactful projects with this support in the near future.
